Preserving Memories : How YouTube Can Turn Your Life into a Timeless Gallery.

Imagine you are 60 years old and have lived your life to the fullest, experiencing all sorts of ups and downs, joy and sorrow, peace and chaos, contentment and regret, gain and loss, love and hatred. One day, your kids find a YouTube channel where you used to post videos of your precious moments. These videos allow your kids to realize how impactful and important those moments were to you.

Think about how happy your kids would be to discover their dad's journey documented in such a personal way:

• Dad having dinner at a local restaurant.
• Dad helping a person in need.
• Dad's first day in college.
• Dad working hard until 3 am.
• Dad's first job as an investment banker.
• Dad taking grandma and grandpa to dinner with his first salary.
• Dad marrying your mom, and so much more.

Isn't it beautiful ? Your kids would relive your entire life through these videos, learning invaluable lessons and gaining insights from your experiences.

The concept of documenting one's life isn't new; it's already popular in the form of "Daily Vlogs." However, before you start thinking that I'm suggesting everyone should become a vlogger, hear me out. I'm not telling you to start vlogging your daily life for public consumption.

YouTube is a unique platform with diverse content. Initially, YouTube was created to share videos of whatever you wanted. Over time, people began showcasing their unique content ideas, some used it to build businesses, and now it has become a platform where an ordinary person can achieve celebrity status.

After 2020, there was a significant spike in vlogging. People began posting videos of their daily lives, even mundane activities at home, which excites some viewers. This trend showed how much interest people have in the lives of others. However, this also has a downside, such as fostering comparison and jealousy, which sometimes can go too far. But let's stick to the topic of vlogging.

The idea is simple : whenever possible, record a video of yourself talking about whatever you're doing. It doesn't matter if it's a special day in your life, a funeral, the birth of someone, cooking a meal, getting poor grades in an exam, facing hard times but still moving forward, and much more.

Documenting these moments may seem silly at first, but in the end, it will be worth it.

Imagine the value these videos would provide. Your children, grandchildren, and future generations could watch and learn from your experiences, understanding the emotions and thoughts behind each moment. They would see you not just as a parent or grandparent but as a person who lived a full, rich life.

YouTube can be more than just a platform for entertainment; it can be a life gallery. By documenting and sharing your journey, you create a legacy that can be cherished by those who come after you. This is not about seeking views, likes, or subscribers, but about preserving your life's story in a way that can be revisited and appreciated.

So, consider making a habit of recording your life’s moments. Whether it’s a significant event or a regular day, capturing these instances can provide immense value in the future. Don’t worry about perfection or making it interesting for others; focus on what these moments mean to you. Ultimately, these videos will serve as a treasure trove of memories and lessons for your loved ones.

In the end, the effort will be worth it. Your life, documented through your own eyes and shared with those you care about, will be a beautiful and lasting gift.

The Death of Original Thought: Are We Being Tricked into Thinking the Same ?

Back in 2020, when I had just begun reading and continued speed-reading for six months, after finishing, I soon realized that the content of basic non-fiction books was almost the same. They all tried to motivate the reader to read more books. Every author seemed to write the same thing but in a different way, and that didn’t feel right from the perspective of having new ideas. Because at the end of the day, if you are thinking at the same intensity as all other readers, what difference does it make to the world? To have original thoughts means to be curious. In today's world, this idea is more relevant than ever, especially in the age of the internet, where your brain is overloaded with information, text, and different forms of content—something I believe is enough to rot your brain. Isn't it sound weird ? Because most of our lives now revolve around the internet. We can't go back to the Stone Age either. The internet is a graveyard of information that presents the same kn...

Movie, Book, and Life Lessons: How Two Stories Changed My Perspective.

"Oh Captain, My Captain" —this is my most favorite line from the movie I'm about to discuss. On November 4th, 2024, at 9 p.m., I finished watching this film, and the ending left me truly heartbroken. It’s unlike anything I've ever watched as a viewer who pay special attention to the characters. This movie is about writers, or more specifically, poets, and it explores themes such as poetry, literature, adulthood, friendship, the relationship between teachers and students, dreams, passion, and love. The story revolves around an English teacher named John Keating, portrayed by Robin Williams, and his two students, Neil Perry and Todd Anderson, at the prestigious Welton Academy. Let me tell you more about Robin Williams' character, Mr. Keating. Once a popular figure at Welton himself, he later returned as a teacher. His character is kind, loving, charismatic, and sarcastic, yet incredibly impactful. Keating views the world through the lens of a writer, poet, and phi...

From Plato to Present: Philosophical Foundations of Education.

Introduction Education is a universal concept that has been known to humanity since ancient times and continues to evolve every year. In philosophy, it has a rich history, with some of the greatest thinkers offering their perspectives on education, such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Alexander the Great. In this article, we will discuss the philosophical aspects of education and the ideas of some famous philosophers. Let’s get started. By definition,— education can be considered as the teaching and learning of specific skills, aimed at becoming knowledgeable, having sound judgment, and gaining wisdom. More precisely, it is more than the institutional education we often speak of.
